This statement describes the Vidiloop iPhone app. Vidiloop is an early product built by a very small team, and our accessibility support is honest rather than complete. This page states what works today and what does not, so that you can decide whether the app is usable for you before you download it.
A permanently dark interface. Every screen, menu and control in Vidiloop uses a dark color scheme. There is no light mode to switch away from and no bright flash when moving between screens, which reduces eye strain in low light.
Sufficient contrast for text. Body text renders at roughly a 14.4:1 contrast ratio against the app background, and secondary text at roughly 10.9:1. Both are well beyond the 4.5:1 minimum in WCAG 2.1 level AA. Accent and error text sit near 5.9:1.
Standard system gestures and controls. Vidiloop is built with Apple’s native UI framework, so system-wide settings such as Increase Contrast, Reduce Transparency, Bold Text and Display Zoom apply to it the way they apply to other apps.
We would rather tell you this plainly than have you find out after installing.
If something in Vidiloop is unusable for you, email support@vidiloop.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line. A real person reads it. Tell us which screen and which assistive technology you were using, and we will treat it as a bug rather than a feature request.
If you need to do something in the app that you cannot currently do — delete your account, export your data, cancel a subscription, or report content — write to the same address and we will complete it for you.
